Let’s catch up with recent research in 3D and video processing. We’ll discuss a potpourri of related topics; depth processing, real-time video segmentation and real-time video facial and object recognition, fashion, etc.
Tuesdays are applied machine learning day. We have a peer-to-peer discussion with a focus on an applied machine learning topic. We also meet on Fridays when we discuss a predetermined research paper.
Discussion:
1. Has AI achieved super-human abilities in 3D or video? Which research areas are making the most progress?
2. What are the ethical issues?
