The SCS cluster, an ecosystem of nearly 300 industrial players, large groups, SMEs and start-ups, is launching its “AI & Cyber 2021 Challenge” competition. This challenge is launched to all entrepreneurs capable of proposing a solution that can respond to the security issue related to technological innovation. This is the third edition of the competition.

A competition to meet the challenges of cybersecurity

This competition takes into account the fact that digital technologies and uses significantly transform our everyday life but that this digital exposure makes us more vulnerable to computer attacks. Cybersecurity is one of the challenges for the future of digital technology and also for the future of the SCS cluster.

“Challenge IA & Cyber 2021” is part of the first axis of the roadmap of the Grand défi cybersécurité because, according to Pôle SCS, the challenge seeks to promote the development of innovative technologies and more particularly those of AI models in the field of cybersecurity. The objective of the challenge is to find an answer to the security issue by investing in the development of breakthrough technologies.

How to participate?

The competition is structured as a call for projects. If you are a company registered with the RCS at the date of the application or a French research laboratory, you can participate in this challenge whose theme is “Coding style recognition”. The proposed project must last from six to twelve months.

If you are one of the three selected programs, you can be subsidized up to 50% of the total project expenses and the amount allocated to each of the three winners. Participants can already send in their applications: a first survey will be carried out on 1 July, at 12 noon. The deadline for submitting applications is September 1, 2021, at noon.
