The 2020 edition of the SophI.A Summit will take place from the 18th to the 20th of November. Due to the health situation, it will take place this year in a 100% digital format. The program will be presented during 3 days in the form of Web TV, available from a streaming platform with controlled access.
The Soph.I.A Summit will be back for its third edition from November 18 to 20, 2020 in 100% digital. Organized by Université Côte d’Azur, the Sophia Antipolis Agglomeration Community and the Sophia Club Entreprises with the support of the Alpes Maritimes department, this international conference will present recent advances in the field of artificial intelligence and its applications. On the program: 17 renowned international AI specialists will deliver keynote speeches during the conference, complemented by 28 presentations, 2 round tables and 35 posters.
A programme of the highest level
Scientific conferences, debates, round tables and posters offer researchers from universities and private companies numerous opportunities for exchange and cross-fertilization on four main themes:
- Developments in AI fundamentals
- AI and health,
- AI and biology,
- AI and smart territory.
This year, two additional sessions will be devoted to :
- AI and sustainable development (“sustainable AI”)
- Relationship between AI and management
The inaugural lecture will be given by Michael Bronstein, a professor at the University of the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland in Lugano, Switzerland, since 2010 and who has held visiting professorships at Stanford University, Harvard University, Tel Aviv University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
