Launched in September 2020, aivancity Paris-Cachan is a Grande Ecole dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Data. One year after its launch, aivancity Paris-Cachan inaugurates its 5.0 campus. Located in the heart of the Cachan university campus, the Grande École will welcome its first classes of students in the next few days. Its main mission: to prepare young people and executives to meet the many challenges of the economy and society related to the exploitation of the potential of data and AI.
A brand new campus to put AI and data at the center of innovation
23 hectares of landscaped site, green spaces, sports facilities and services, 4000m2 on 4 levels, amphitheatre-arena, AI clinic, library, coworking space, relaxation areas, more than fifteen dynamic learning rooms and more than thirty boxes for group work… These are the well-equipped infrastructures of the new 5.0 campus of aivancity Paris-Cachan which has just been inaugurated.
This new campus was developed by the Patriarche Group, aivancity’s partner in this project. Each space has been designed to be linked to the others for better sharing between the various players (researchers, professors, students, partners, etc.) who will walk the campus throughout the year. Tawhid Chtioui, President and founder of aivancity, talks about the creation of this brand new AI and data mecca:

It is strong in its values that we have chosen to be here, in Cachan and on this prestigious site, alongside our partners in the Paris-Cachan Alliance for Science and Technology: the EPF, ESTP and ESTIC.”
Renaud Vedel, Prefect, Coordinator of the national AI strategy gives more details on the aivancity project:
“aivancity is a very fine entrepreneurial project for training in data, data science and AI technologies that meets the recruitment needs of companies in new market segments and is part of an innovative technological training cluster in Cachan.”
An inauguration attended by 300 guests from the political and AI worlds
Aivancity Paris-Cachan inaugurated its new campus in the presence of nearly 300 guests, students, parents, professors, partners, elected officials of the City of Cachan, directors of the schools of the Alliance for Science and Technology of Cachan, and many representatives of aivancity’s partners, including:
- Hélène de Comarmond, Mayor of Cachan and Regional Councillor
- Faouzia Fekiri, Sub-prefect of the Créteil district, representing the Prefect of Val-de-Marne,
- Renaud Vedel, Prefect and coordinator of the national strategy for artificial intelligence,
- Cédric O, Secretary of State for Digital Transition and Electronic Communications.
- Jean-Yves Le Bouillonnec, Honorary Deputy Mayor of Cachan,
- Sylvie Charrière, Member of Parliament for Seine-Saint-Denis, Métin Yavuz, Mayor of Valenton and Regional Councillor

Cédric O spoke about the inauguration of this 5.0 campus:

The school aims to be a place for sharing, exchanging and meeting on AI and data at the heart of knowledge transmission and skills acquisition.
