The VINCI Group’s innovation platform, Leonard, has announced the opening of applications for the 2022 edition of its SEED start-up acceleration programme. The new class will have to specialise in the fields of mobility, energy, construction and real estate. The start-ups will have to propose innovative solutions and have until October 1st to register.
A programme of support, acceleration and coaching
Leonard’s SEED programme is a 6-month financing and coaching programme designed for start-ups in seed or pre-seed stage that propose innovative solutions in four major areas that respond to the challenges of the transformation of cities and infrastructures: construction, mobility, real estate and energy.
Leonard has been approved as a prescriber for the French Tech Seed fund, which allows start-ups raising their first seed capital to benefit from a leverage mechanism in the form of convertible bonds (up to two euros of matching funds for every euro raised). Leonard is also a partner of French Tech Tremplin, which supports founders from under-represented backgrounds in the French start-up ecosystem to promote diversity and equal opportunities within it.
Several types of support: workshops, meetings, financial support, coaching
As part of the support offered by Leonard, each start-up is offered:
- A weekly workshop on a specific topic covered in the Stanford Center for Professional Development training, such as go-to-market strategy or financial modeling, led by a specialist in the field – most often a North American or European investor or former entrepreneur.
- Meetings with business angels, venture capitalists, intellectual property attorneys and financing structures such as Bpifrance.
- Individual coaching sessions with VINCI experts.
- A financial contribution of €30,000.
