Last May, Anthony Cirot, then Managing Director of Google Cloud, was appointed Vice President EMEA South. He hands over the executive position he held from May 2021 to Isabelle Fraine, to devote himself to his new role.

Isabelle Fraine, 55, is a graduate of Inalco and Université Paris-Dauphine in Russian and International Exchanges.

Previously General Manager, Infrastructure Solutions at Dell Technologies, after holding various sales and management positions, notably with IBM in France, she brings solid experience and expertise in strategy, business development, leadership and team management in technology environments, according to the press release announcing her appointment.

In addition to leading the Google Cloud France teams, she is responsible for the growth strategy and commercial development of Google’s cloud activities in France, one of the company’s priority markets in the EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa) region.

Despite being outpaced by AWS and Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud’s activity in France has accelerated in recent years, most recently with the opening of the France (europe-west 9) region at the end of May, and the creation of the S3NS joint venture with Thalès for a trusted cloud. Companies such as Carrefour, FNAC Darty, PhotoRoom and Renault are exploring its generative AI offerings, including the Vertex AI platform and Duet AI for Wokplace.
