Interel, specialist in IoT for intelligent buildings, announces a new financing of 6 million euros

Interel has announced an additional €6 million financing round with Jolt Capital. Intelligent and sustainable building technology is at the heart of the company led by Florian Gallini, which hopes to accelerate the implementation of several strategic initiatives and expand internationally.

Over the past 10 years Interel has established itself as an innovator in the field of intelligent hotel room control solutions focused on reducing energy consumption, optimizing operations to provide a better experience for users.

In 2019, the company achieved a record year with over 30% profitable growthe and despite the Covid-19 pandemic, was able to maintain strong results with increased profitability in 2020, thanks to its innovative product range, broad regional coverage and market expansion into new verticals.

Florian Gallini, CEO of Interel, is pleased to count on the renewed confidence of Jolt Capital and said that the intelligent building space offers significant opportunities and Interel has a clear roadmap to capitalize on the trend to make living spaces more intelligent and sustainable.

The €6 million funding will allow the company to accelerate the implementation of several strategic initiatives, such as continued expansion in the North American region, growing through a recently signed partnership with a major global player in energy and automation, expanding its offering in adjacent markets, and developing new features centered around its recently released and low-cost EOS Wi-Fi thermostat.
