On April 5, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced the launch of the 8th edition of its start-up acceleration program to which some 50 companies responded. After a first selection in May, on June 9, it unveiled the twelve young innovative French companies that were selected during a panel of judges including HPE experts and partners, notably MINALOGIC, NVIDIA, Orange, INSEAD Alumni Business Angels, La FrenchTech in the Alps and MIAI Grenoble.
HPE’s strategy has been built around innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. This program, launched in November 2014, aimed at young French companies over three years old, has already enabled more than 120 of them to benefit from personalized support to solve the problems they may encounter: building an offer, commercial structuring, scaling up, technology, marketing or communication. Common economic development objectives are then developed.
One year of personalized support
For one year, starting this month, the selected companies will benefit from
– The support of a sponsor, a senior manager at HPE, with solid experience and a national and international network. Among them; Laurence Commandeur (HR business Manager and Labor Relation HPE France), Pierre Hoffer (Director EMEA Sales HPC & AI), Philippe Rase (Director Business Planning & Global Strategic Partnership) or Xavier Poisson (Vice President, Worldwide Service Providers business and Cloud28+);
– HPE’s internal and external ecosystem including experts, suppliers, prescribers, investors network, partners, national and international customers;
– A connection with the HPE Labs, including those in Grenoble and Geneva, for the most innovative start-ups, allowing them to benefit from feedback from experts at the cutting edge of their respective fields;
– They will also be able to participate in events alongside HPE, such as the recent World AI Cannes Forum or HPE Discover, The Edge-to-Cloud Conference, which will take place from June 28 to 30.
Philippe Rase, Director Business Planning & Global Strategic Partnership, HPE, assures:
“It is always with such enthusiasm and passion that we launch a new edition of this program, which allows us to establish real business links and create fantastic human experiences between sponsors, recognized leaders within HPE, and young start-ups or very promising French innovative companies. For this 8th edition, we will support a panel of 12 young innovative French companies mainly in the fields of responsible digital, artificial intelligence and especially its application to industry 4.0, health or cybersecurity.”
