Milestone Systems and NVIDIA announced a partnership last month to bring artificial intelligence to the heart of cities. Two online events were announced at the time.
The first, a conference in collaboration with XXII, a French video protection company, was held on November 18, 2021 and is now available for replay at this link.

According to a study published by BVA Group in May 2021, 45% of French people consider that the use of tools such as intelligent video protection is an opportunity. The use of new technologies should therefore become a priority for both private sites and local authorities. During this hour-long conference, the aim will be to discover how the deployment of video and sensor technologies in public spaces, notably via the XXII CORE software platform, can improve the quality of life of city residents. Practical use cases such as the detection of illegal dumping, the identification of nuisances linked to groupings or the understanding of traffic and many other daily examples will be evoked.
The various presentations will help to overcome the lack of information on these tools and to show local elected officials and citizens, in a precise and documented way, how to make the most of the performance of video technologies to become a Smart City. The conference will aim to promote the democratization of the use of intelligent video protection solutions. The important points that the speakers will address are:
