Cardiologs, publisher of a cardiology diagnostic platform based on artificial intelligence, received the 2020 Medical Device Award at the 2020 Health Awards ceremony. The solution proposed by Cardiologs simplifies the interpretation of electrocardiograms and allows them to be shared within a secure platform with all medical stakeholders.
On the occasion of the award reception, Yann Fleureau, CEO and founder of Cardiologs recalled that every year 18 million people die prematurely from cardiovascular diseases, making it the leading cause of death in the world.
“The challenge for Cardiologs is to create this artificial intelligence that will reach the level of the best experts, who have already reached it for the diagnosis of heart rhythm disorders, and to make it available to everyone, worldwide, to accelerate the diagnosis and the management of all these patients”, Yann Fleureau, CEO and founder of Cardiologs.
The solution developed by Cardiologs is the first AI-based heart rhythm disorder diagnostic solution in the US, it was launched in Europe late last year. Yann Fleureau’s projections are for 1 million patients to be diagnosed by the end of 2021.
