In collaboration with Bpifrance, the Bavarian State Economic Department, the law firm Mazars in Germany, Moove Lab (the mobility startup gas pedal at Station F founded by MOBILIANs and Via ID), NetMedia International, Smarketer GmbH, and the city of Düsseldorf, where it is based, Business France Germany will support 10 French companies, eight of which are from the tech sector and two from the mobility sector. They were announced on May 3 after being selected by a Franco-German jury, and will participate in an eight-month acceleration program tailored to better understand the specifics of the German market, expand their network and accelerate their development in Germany.
Business France is a French national agency responsible for the international development of companies and their exports, as well as for prospecting and welcoming international investments in France. Created on January 1, 2015, it is the result of the merger of Ubifrance and the French Agency for International Investments (AFII) and has a total of 1,500 employees in France and in 55 other countries.
Business France Germany is based in Düsseldorf and has a staff of more than 40 people in charge of four sectors: agri-food (Agrotech), new technologies, innovation and services (NTIS), infrastructure, transport, industry (ITI) and fashion, housing, health (MHS). It offers four ranges of products and services: consulting, networking, communication-press and International Volunteers in Business (VIE).
The Impact Germany program
The Impact Germany program aims to help French companies accelerate their growth and development in Germany.

The 2022 edition
The call for applications for the third edition of Impact Germany was launched last January, the winners were announced this May 3.
This eight-month customized acceleration program consists of three stages:
– From May 18 to May 20, 2022: Business France in Germany, along with Bpifrance and its partners, will welcome the 10 French companies at the French Consulate General in Düsseldorf for the launch of the event.
During these three days, they will have access to personalized advice sessions on their development strategy in Germany, first collective workshops with German experts, Franco-German companies based in the region of North Rhine-Westphalia will testify about their experience. A visit to the “5G Lab” at the University of Medicine in Düsseldorf and numerous networking events with the Business France Germany network are also planned.
– From June 1 to June 30, 2022: this second phase aims to help managers adapt to this new market and help them refine their strategy.
This month will be dedicated to meetings with companies, mentors and Business France partners during collective sessions. Each company participating in the program will receive a personalized positioning study.
– From the end of August: Launch of the prospecting phase.
The Franco-German teams of the Tech & Services and Industry & CleanTech departments of Business France in Düsseldorf will accompany the 10 French managers in prospecting for local clients and partners and will facilitate the appointments.
During this third phase, the Business France teams will welcome the French delegation in Munich for a second meeting within the framework of the Bits&Pretzels festival, which will be held from September 25 to 27, 2022.
The companies will participate in numerous networking events, including with the French Tech Munich network, the Bavarian region’s economic department “Invest in Bavaria” and the ecosystem.
