Atos will be one of the first to deploy the SAP S/4HANA® Cloud private edition. The cloud edition, a core component of the RISE with SAP offering, is expected to help Atos accelerate its digital transformation across 105,000 employees in 71 countries. The company announced that it has already migrated 42 business-critical systems with more than 500 interfaces from its on-premise SAP S/4HANA instance to SAP S/4HANA Cloud in less than nine months.
Finance, Logistics, HR, and Data Analytics
Digital transformation is a crucial issue for companies, from small businesses to large corporations. This is the case for Atos, which is becoming one of the very first companies to migrate its critical systems to the cloud, including finance, logistics and HR platforms, open-access portals dedicated to its teams, and data analysis tools.
To accelerate its transformation and achieve its goal of “net zero” by 2028, Atos has chosen the latest generation of SAP’s industry-leading processes and business practices with low latency connectivity to highly advanced cloud services. This will enable the French company to leverage artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, machine learning and blockchain, while optimizing its business practices, to boost innovation and develop new solutions.
“We are very proud to have completed our migration to SAP S/4HANA Cloud in such a short time. We now have a solid foundation that offers us speed, flexibility and innovation, which we can leverage to accelerate our own digital transformation,” commented Frédéric Aubrière, Group CIO, Atos.
“The benefits are clear, not only in terms of streamlining our operations, optimizing our costs and redeploying our resources, as we now have the means to further prioritize our customers and continue to advance our industry-specific approach, but also in terms of decarbonization to meet our carbon targets.”
With SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Atos expects to streamline its operations and thus optimize its processes. Teams will be able to focus on innovation and high value-added projects for the business.
At the same time, Atos is offering support to its customers who also want to migrate to SAP S/4HANA Cloud through the RISE with SAP program.
“SAP is pleased to support Atos’ digital journey and ongoing business transformation. Through outstanding collaboration between our teams, we have collectively been able to complete this project in just nine months, enabling Atos to strengthen its competitive advantage and benefit from SAP’s intelligent, comprehensive and customer-focused offering that will empower Atos to identify future growth opportunities,” said Brian Duffy, President Cloud at SAP.
