Angers Technopole: The 6th class of the Operation Renard accelerator has been launched

The Opération Renard accelerator, supported and run by Angers Technopole, is already in its sixth promotion. Launched in 2015, this key program of animation and support for innovative and high-potential projects has supported 38 project teams in the sectors of AI, blockchain, e-commerce, IoT, agro-technology, SSE, finance or tourism. Seven new teams have been selected and among them Ancobalt is a tool to help manage crypto assets. The opportunity to show that things are moving in Angers!

“We chose not to focus the accelerator on a particular sector, the support is all the richer, each of the startups can feed off the experience of each other and be inspired by the dynamics and best practices of a sector that was previously distant! “says Elodie Douaglin, head of the program.

Seven companies have joined the 6th class of the Opération Renard accelerator. These future nuggets will spend five intensive months developing their innovation, working in particular on optimizing commercial resources, customer acquisition and financing strategy. The projects were selected by a jury of professionals from 19 complete applications received. The selection criteria focused in particular on the innovative character, the market potential/economic impact, the stage of progress of the projects, the motivation to develop the company in the region.

During 5 months, the teams will be challenged and trained through collective workshops, weekly personal follow-up, conferences, a bootcamp, a crash test and strategic face-to-face meetings… The program is designed to be as practical and complete as possible to enable startups to structure their action plans, avoid pitfalls and develop rapidly. They will be accompanied on a daily basis by expert innovation coaches, will benefit from the cross-fertilization of the entire class and will receive advice from professional business leaders and entrepreneurs.
