Accenture announces the creation of an R&D center in Brest

During the “Choose France summit organized by the Elysée Palace in Versailles on July 11, Accenture, a company specializing in digital consulting and support, announced its intention to create an R&D center in Brest, which will create 500 jobs within three years. The attractiveness of the Breton region, which is already well known in France and Europe for its R&D in a number of fields, including cybersecurity, new materials, biology and marine technologies, will be further enhanced.

It continues its acquisition strategy with the purchase of Carbon Intelligence, a carbon and climate change strategy consulting firm, and MC Gregor Partners on September 1. The following day, it announced the completion of the acquisition of the activities of Sentia, a consulting and cloud delivery company, in the Netherlands, Belgium and Bulgaria.

Loïg Chesnais-Girard, President of the Brittany region, also declared:

Accenture employs 7,000 people in France, including 700 in Nantes, in its technological development and innovation center, whose capacities will be strengthened by this new center. The company also has offices in Lyon and Toulouse, and in Paris, where it is carrying out R&D work in its innovation center as well as in its Sophia Antipolis laboratory, with a particular focus on AI, immersiveness and robotics.
